Representatives of groups of the National Community of Free Software,production units and public and academic institutions belonging to the NationalRepository computer Applications (RNA), discussed proposals for sustainability, promotion and proper functioning of this service.
RNA is a collaborative space of reference, in which they find and fosterapplications, tools and projects in information technologies, which are developed in free software, utility and interest to the Public Administration and organized communities, said a note press.
This tool designed by the National Center of Information Technologies (CNTI), is available on the website http://repositorio.softwarelibre.gob.ve and has a widerange of benefits geared to the downloading, publishing and collaborative development computer applications.
In this sense, the activity is developed through two workshops with the participation of representative from each sector in order to discriminate betweenthe different proposals or action plans. In the first, on the Functioning of the Committee RNA, came the development of a taste of Canaima GNU / Linux for Small and Medium Enterprises.
While in the second, on the Participation, Promotion and Dissemination Service,outline strategies and collaborative participation of institutions and development communities, ranging from updating content, improved tools, incorporating a technology platform test to the design and publishing banner, brochures and informational materials.
Currently, the service has been redesigned in its presentation and functionality to the public, inter-operate automatically with collaborative development platform, toa future integration with Public Software International (SPI).
