Mozilla starts creating its own operating system

Excited. How I felt when I heard the news. I do not know what you think, but Mozilla Foundation, the sponsor of historical software like Firefox is interested in entering the market for operating systems sounds like innovation, fresh ideas, competition, and open source community. The issue will thus:
Mozilla believe the web can move stacks of proprietary, single vendor, for application development. To make the open web is a better platform for both desktop applications and mobile web need to boost the capabilities of offering the software stacks in question.
Yes, the project is called Booting to Gecko-B2G, to shorten words Gecko is the name of the rendering engine that uses the browser-would focus first on building a mobile operating system and would involve the development of:
New interfaces for application development, which may well be for telephony, SMS, Camera, USB, NFC, etc.
A model of privileges which give rise to the creation of secure web applications, one of the Achilles heels of the so called HTML5. This model should be reasonably sure that access to hardware and other parts of the system is safe.
A starter system compatible with Android, to bridge the gap between B2G and devices. So we can deduce that Android will be key to the development of B2G, but the idea of independence from him at some point, for one, try to use as possible.
Applications to serve as motivation, as proof of concept to show the capabilities of B2G.
Mozilla tells that once the library pdf.js developed to make the PDF format becomes a subset of HTML, in other words, successfully achieved a natural integration of both technologies. Similarly want to do for more deeper layers of the traditional operating systems. By the way, I should mention that the mastermind behind B2G is Dr. Andreas Gal, an expert in security and virtualization.
As expected, Mozilla and began development of B2G with code hosted on GitHub, at the time of writing only a README file.
Many years ago, companies such as Google Web believed in open and open technology platform and business. Shortly after Mozilla did but tremendous support from a community of programmers still growing and volunteers worldwide. The Open Web is using open standards and technologies, this is not talking about that site that requires the use of patented technology, exclusively monopolized or H.264, Flash, Internet Explorer, etc., but quite the opposite. Therefore, says Mozilla
we are not trying to have those applications like native executables only in Firefox, try to make them run for the Web.
Predicted by some scientists for over a decade, the Web is destined to become the place to happen (almost) everything, including our operating systems.
